How do I change the background color here ?
White background can be difficult to see the labels ....
I drew a red color a circle...

Is that your only option? since as you can see on the properties dialog, there is no background, just fill and outline color
You sure ? What I was talking about was about the white background behind the labels. I want the background to change to another color...like orange etc...
Not talking about Halo or labels that sort of thing...
Otherwise is the white is set as it is the only color ?
Your chosen label class doesn't have a background, you will have to change it to a different one
