Oh this is on the Export to PDF UI - in reviewing the Export options to PDF from AGP, I don't see it. There is an ArcGIS Idea listed here - https://community.esri.com/ideas/14215-convert-marker-symbol-to-polygons that you can vote for. The idea has been Reviewed by the AGP Development Team but I don't know it's progress after that.

Mark - do you mean convert marker symbol graphics to polygons? If so, graphics are not supported in the current release of AGP 2.2.x.
