Unable to add dynamic layer to map in mobile application.

Question

I'm trying to add ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer objects to a Map.  The same code works with the web version of the application but fails with the mobile version (iOS).  The mobile version throws this error:Error: removeChild() is not available in this class. Instead, use removeElement() or modify the skin, if you have one.

Any suggestions on how I fix this?
