Collector for ArcGIS app and ArcMap licensing

So my company has 35 ipads used for field work. We've always used Avenza PDF Maps, but are looking to possibly switch to the Collector for ArcGIS app. We've only got 4 basic ArcGIS for Desktop licenses in the office. So my question is does the Collector app have a limit of how many iPads can be connected to one ESRI account?

With your 4x ArcGIS for Desktop licenses - you also have 4 ArcGIS Online organization accounts.

FYI, one ArcGIS Online organization account is assigned to a specific person. They are not licensed to be shared among several users.

Q: What is your specific workflow? If your field teams are just viewing data and not actually editing/collecting data, you could potentially use Explorer for ArcGIS to just view data.
