View Relationship Class Attribute Information

Question

I have a File GDB with a Feature Class that has two relationship classes (both 1:M).
Does AGX support viewing, querying or symbolizing related attributes?

When I add the content to AGX it doesn't appear to me the related attributes are preserved.

Here are the answers to your questions:

Viewing - No not directly, Explorer doesn't have the built in capability to view attribute tables. But you could write an Add-in to display your related data in a hierarchical grid. To help get you started have a look at the Layer Attributes sample contained in the SDK. It makes use of the TableBindingAdapter class, which also contains a method called GetRelatedBindingAdapter that you could make use of.

Querying - Yes but again only through the API.  There is a handy GetRelatedRows method on the Row and RowCollection to return related data.

Viewing - No. As far as i know ArcMap doesn't have the capability to symbolize using data in a 1:M related table (someone please confirm if i am incorrect). However, you can symbolize by a field in a joined table in ArcMap. To see this in Explorer you would need to create a layer package or layerfile in ArcMap then open it in Explorer.
