create new raster from attribute field

Dear all,
I have a global raster with an attribute table where some attribute fields are joined fields from another table. I want to create a new raster from one of the other fields in the attribute table. Does anyone know how to do it? (Lookup doesn't do the job, I have a 1-band raster file).

So I found out how to do it:
So first you join the table with attributes and the global raster. Then you export this joined grid to a new grid so that the attribute table of the new raster file has all the joined attribute fields. Then there is a command in spatial analysist, reclass toolbox, called Lookup. There you use the new joined grid and then choose the attribute field you want to export as a new raster.
