Linear referencing question

Hello,

I have a mainline layer thats divided into stations. I am trying to overlay it with some parcels and see where they intersect. The goal is to have a table that shows where on the mainline it intersects the parcel but am having trouble coming up with a table.

For example: we would like the table to show

from point A to B intersects parcel x

from point C to F intersects parcel y

and etc.

Any help would be appreciated. So far i have created a route layer from the mainline layer but have not found a way to create a table of intersection

just got it to work using locate features along route tool!! Thanks!

To be more precise, the Locate Features Along Routes tool in the Linear Referencing toolbox will do this for you. The output of the tool is an Event Table with point data showing where your polygons intersect your routes.

Have you tried using the Intersect geoprocessing tool?
