Is there and easy way to move my applications I have created in WAB dev Edition then downloaded and hosted on my server back into the updated WAB so I can configure some changes with the esearch widget?

Does it have to be in a certain format? I have tried to upload my old app but I get an error.
There is an option where you can import old Apps.
To the right of Create New.
