How to do regression testing with ArcGIS Pro 3.7

Following the online advice https://doc.esri.com/en/arcgis-pro/latest/sdk/api-reference/conceptdocs/docs/ProGuide-Regression-Testing.html for regression testing an ArcGIS Pro addin, the file TestEnvironment.cs refers to a Task TestModeInitializeAsync, defined in ArcGIS.Desktop.Internal.Core.PropAppInternalExtensions. This Task is not included in ArcGIS Pro 3.7. Can anyone suggest how to do regression testing in ArcGIS Pro 3.7?
