Widget Editor - Forcing editors to use the dropdown menu

I have an edit widget with several fields. Those fields have a dropdown menus associated with them. But it appears that editors can also type in whatever text they want and completely bypass the dropdown menu.

Can I disable to option for editors to type in their own values?

Just an update to my post above (since I'm outside the edit window):

In my screenshot above, I was able to type the word "TEST" and bypassing the domain list.
I read in another post that I can use Attribute Rule to restrict what users can enter and force them to follow the domain list. The problem is, Attribute Rules does not work with my database (Sequence need to be turned-on on the SQL database which I have no control of).

So, considering all that, is there a way to prevent users from typing in their own values without using the Attribute Rule option?

Hi @doronwen, do the fields with dropdowns have a domain assigned? What does your Form configuration look like?

@AlixVezina yes, they do have domains associated with them.

Are you referring toe the configure form option in the Web Map? Currently, I do not have a form set up in there. But if I do, would that have any impact on the Experience Builder app Edit Widget?

@doronwen Yes, the option to configure the Form for a layer from within Map Viewer. That Form configuration will be reflected in the Edit widget in Experience Builder.

When you configure the Form, you should see an option to use a "Combo box" for fields that have a Domain assigned. Make sure you save the web map again after configuring the Form. I am hoping using this should resolve the issue you are observing.

@AlixVezina OK, I think the method you have detailed above did fix the issue. I'm unable to type in values and forced to use the drop down list.
