filter map by related data

Hello,

I have a map widget that I want to filter by several related tables to the polygon feature layer in the map. I have been trying to do this by using filter widget. It will only work on one of the filters I add in widget. I am not sure why this is, I have tried using a group filter but that doesn't work.

So to clarify I have a feature layer, with 5 tables that are related to it. I want the map widget to only display features from the layer based on unique attributes across the 5 related tables.

Any ideas?

So the way to go about this is to do the following:

• Click on the map and navigate to your map actions
• Under the message action click add trigger and select the record selection option
• For the trigger data select the geometry feature in the map
• For the action trigger select your table
• Enable the trigger/action connection option and configure the fields below
  • The first field should be the field in the geometry table
  • The second should be the field that correlates to the same field( or field value) in the geometry table

You may need to set multiple triggers per table in order to achieve what you are after.
