Hello everyone,
Recently, we were given a new jurisdictional boundary and new county and local jurisdiction abbreviations that our agency is adopting as the official standard. Our RouteID field for our local road LRS (we don't have Route Name field used in our LRS yet) has <County>_<Local Jurisdiction>_<Route name i.e. Betty Dr>_P as our set up. We were looking for a way to batch change the jurisdiction information. Reassign and Rename tools both dont seem to have an option to make this possible. I wanted to see what other agencies and companies have experienced, if they have developed a tool or methodology, and how that impacted events.
I thought about exporting the LRS, making the changes through data management tools, then use append routes but unsure of the impacts this could cause to the relationships of the events.
