I’ve got a survey design question and I’m hoping someone has found a better solution. We carry out site inspections using the same survey across a large number of sites, so creating a separate survey for each site isn’t practical.
One of our questions might be something like, "Are the entrances clean?" The challenge is that some sites have one entrance, while others have several. We need to take a photo at each entrance and have each photo record its own GPS location. The built-in multi-photo option doesn’t work for us because all of the photos share a single location, rather than recording the location where each individual photo was taken.
To work around this, I’ve been using photo repeats, since each repeat captures its own location. The problem is that our survey has nearly 70 questions, and if I add a repeat to every photo question, the survey becomes so large that it crashes. Has anyone found a better way to handle this? Ideally, I’m looking for a solution that allows multiple photos for a single question while recording a separate GPS location for each photo, without having to add a repeat to every question.
