During topology error inspections, when you try to click a specific error and review the suggested change (for example, how to merge an area that is overlapping between two features), ArcGIS Pro zooms to the full extent of both features being inspected.
I am often conducting these topology checks on geographically large land use datasets which span several acres, but the error I am fixing is often a few square feet. When zoomed to the full extent of the item, it's very difficult to see which thing is being merged with what. The little helper window pops up to allow you to pick which item to merge it with, but they only flash the selected items on the LARGE screen, not the mini-side by side screen in the error bar. This makes it very difficult to know which feature I am merging with, as the only identifying feature listed is the feature's object ID, which I do not have memorized.
ArcGIS Desktop did not adjust the zoom level, and it displayed the feature name (which feature to merge with) based on it's display field, so I could often see "do you want to merge this with Open Space or Road", which was considerably more helpful. I have generally continued to use Desktop for Error Inspection because I find the error inspector window so difficult to work with in Pro, but as fewer and fewer items work in desktop, it would be greatly appreciated if the Error Inspector was more user friendly.
