I've just started working with platforms like ArcGIS, is there a way to export a map as a CSV or download a layer from MapViewer to use in ArcGIS?

You are able to download the layers used in Web Maps in ArcGIS Online.
I've attached a short tutorial on how to do this. Please note that not all layers may support this, as the item's owner must allow their data to be exported.
