Solutions in Metric and Imperial

Esri developed solutions are built for the USA only. Everyone else has to go in and change miles or ft to metres or kilometres, etc. It would be nice if the solution had a metric or imperial option when deploying. It would save the rest of the world many hours in editing.

Perhaps if this could be a user preference that would be applied across all Esri applications it would be less onerous for those that wish to use something other than the default. Especially if it could be initially determined by one's locale settings.
