Information Look-up template and Geocoder

I am working with the Information Look-up tool on ArcGIS online and am having trouble loading a custom geocoder.

The city geocoder we have built works with other maps, but not in the template. Does it only work with the ESRI Geocoder?

Hi Sarah,

Using a custom Geocoder is supported with the Information Lookup Template. Is the geocoding service appearing in the search configuration panel?
