Error in Coping Utility Network to Enterprise Geodatabase

Good morning,

I am trying to copy a Utility Network from a file geodatabase to an enterprise geodatabase using the copy/paste method on the feature dataset, as described in the "Copy the utility network and data" section of the "Configure a multiuser environment" article. However, I am getting the error message shown in the image below.

The Utility Network is version 7, ArcGIS Pro 3.7, and ArcGIS Enterprise is version 11.5.
The UN contains a large amount of data (3.3 GB).

There is already a feature dataset in the enterprise GDB, but it is not named UtilityNetwork. Could this still cause problems? Is it better for the target database to be completely empty in order to use the copy/paste method? If it is not empty, would it be possible to use the Stage Utility Network + Apply Asset Package option instead?

Copying the Feature Dataset is valid if the target GDB does not have the Feature Dataset already. If this fails, tech support would be the be path to resolve the issue.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for your reply. I haven't tried copying just the UN controller yet, because right now I need to have the enterprise database reset. Even though the UN copy failed, it still copied over the domains. When attempting further tries, it now returns new errors related to the domains created during the first attempt, and these domains cannot be deleted from ArcGIS Pro.

Regarding the copy parameters, I simply copy/paste the UtilityNetwork feature dataset from the file geodatabase into the enterprise geodatabase, which already contains some datasets unrelated to the UN.

I'm attaching the UN schema (no data) in XML format, exported from the UN file geodatabase that was generated from the Solution's Asset Package, with some customization.

The enterprise geodatabase platform is Oracle.

If you try to copy on the Utility Network controller dataset, does it succeed. Can you share the model or parameters you are using to copy the data?
