The University of Rhode Island allocates space in the Space Planner app to 284 departments. With that many departments, the colors tend to blend together because they are so similar. In the attached image, the dark blue shaded spaces are actually allocated to two different departments. But the colors are so similar, it's tough to distinguish between them. Having the ability to add hatching, similar to other space management systems, would be extremely useful. Hatching could include various diagonal or criss-cross patterns. Hatching could be further refined by selecting line width and color.
