Does field maps not support web map effects, such as bloom, drop shadow etc...? I have them enabled on my web map and instant App, but on field maps I'm not getting the drop shadow effect.
Unfortunately it does not. This is a known limitation and I submitted an enhancement for this in 2023 (almost 3 years ago) officially in Esri's portal - ENH-000158588
You could submit an idea in Esri Community or also submit an official enhancement through the portal too, to hopefully help it gain some traction.
