HOW TO MODIFY THE PDF GENERATED IN A STORY MAP

Hi everybody.

I was wondering if someone can help with ideas about how to modify the PDF generated from ArcGIS StoryMaps.

I need to fix the PDF in relation to having the whole paragraph on the same page. I need to modify the PDF in order to have one whole paragraph on the same page and not divided into two pages.

Somebody has any idea how I can do it?

The story map has some dashboards inside, and when we download the story map, the dashboards appear as if they are loading, but we have to wait long enough until we can see them in the story map. Why does it happen? Is the only solution to fit the PDF in order to see the dashboard in the story map by using a PDF editor?

@AR7 - All content does need to be loaded in the print preview for it to appear in the PDF, so you do need to wait and/or scroll through the story to make sure the content is there before printing.

One thing you can do to improve how the dashboard looks in the PDF is to add an alternative image, which will be shown in place of the live dashboard in print preview. To do this, hover over the dashboard and click Options. In the Small screens section, click Image and upload a screenshot of the dashboard. This should also make it load a bit faster since print preview doesn't have to load the live dashboard.

If you do not want the dashboard to be shown as an image on small screens, just switch back to one of the other small screen options after you create the PDF. (Either way, this change wouldn't be visible to readers unless you publish).
