Hello,
We have been using Field Maps for offline data collection and for the past 5+ years now have had filters on each of the data collection layers in the AGOL web map. For example, the web map uses 'CreationDate in the last 1 minute' and so this would give us a blank offline map for surveying each day. I updated earlier in the month to the latest Field Map version 26.1.0 and we ran some test data collections with offline maps and everything seemed the same.
Yesterday the iPad updated its iOS to 26.3.1 and I had a colleague testing the data collection in the offline map now have the filter actually honor the filter so features disappear in the offline map after the 1 minute frame. The iOS is the only update that is different I know of, but I wonder why would that update now cause the filter to actually be honored offline. It was actually perfect in that we had a process for blank maps for data collection and configuring the filter for creationdate in the last 12 hours or similar isn't ideal.
Would the iOS update have caused this change? What would be the recommendation to have a blank map for data collection? In our case we do not want to see all survey data collected since the same areas are routinely surveyed multiple days in a row.
Thanks,
Kathy
