ArcGIS for Power BI – click map feature to open another page?

Hi everyone,

I’m exploring whether it is possible for end users to click on a point feature in an ArcGIS Maps for Power BI visual and have it redirect (or open) a Power BI report on another page within the same report.

Ideally, this would behave like a drill-through or hyperlink action triggered directly from the map interaction.

Has anyone implemented something similar using ArcGIS for Power BI, Azure, or other approaches?

@OriGudes230175 It seems you're looking for a single-click navigation experience directly from the map interaction.

Standard Power BI behavior treats a direct click on a visual as a "selection/filtering" event, so you can't map a native page navigation action directly to the click of a point feature.

A workaround for this can be to use a Dynamic URL measure placed in the Tooltips well. When the user clicks the point, the pop-up/tooltip renders a clickable hyperlink. If you format the URL to point to your specific report page (and include the feature ID as a URL parameter), it will redirect them to the target page on the same report.

Thanks @AkshayHarshe  I think the question is more about hyperlink action triggered directly from the map interaction. For example, if I click a point feature on the map, it opens a new report page on itself.  Does that make sense? Ori
