Calculated value in Survey123 App will not work

Greetings All:

I am teaching a field methods course and walked the participants through creating a Survey123 in the web designer including a calculated value that was a very simple example: Tree height (ft) - then the calculated value in the next field calculated that to be in (m).

All was well when they filled out this survey using the web browser and I've done this many times in the past.

However this week I wanted them to also try the survey with the Survey123 app. I tried it at least 10 times, and so did the participants, but none of them nor me could get the calculated valued to work in the app. The app does not calculate the value--it shows as a field that you have to input. Inputting the value in meters defeats the whole purpose of the calculated value!

The app is updated and is the latest version.

This is something that is very simple and should just WORK. Thanks for any nuggets of wisdom that you might have.

Solution: I already had the leading 0 here in 0.3048 for my calculation, but I went in and deleted my old expression, re-added it, and republished it and now it is working in the web browser AND in the Survey123 app. I don't exactly know why repeating what I had already done made it work but "things happen" and perhaps this will help someone in the future. I hope so. Joseph Kerski

What are your settings for your feet question and how did you setup your calculation, can you show screenshots?

Filling out my same exact survey in both scenarios below - the calculation works fine in a web browser, but in the Survey123 APP (2nd image) it does not work. That is baffling. Thanks for any clues,

I tried everything I can think of and 1 week later my survey is still calculating fine in the browser and not on the App 😞 I at my wit's end and any further advice appreciated. This is something that is very simple and should just *work*.
