How can I automatically track a route using the geotrace functionality in survey123?
Without knowing a little more about your survey and goals, you could look into geotrace with the method=vertex,streaming

Depending on your needs, "Location Sharing" may be an option:

Not S123, but QuickCapture is great for this. You can capture multiple lines simultaneously, stopping and starting each line as required.
