AGOL update broke Feature Info widget respecting HTML in Arcade popup

Hi all,

I was surprised to see this morning that my Feature Info widget is no longer respecting the HTML tags within the popup's Arcade component. It was working fine yesterday prior to the October 2025 update.

My app has two layers. One of point addresses and the other polygon zones. I have an Arcade script within the address pop-up to return differently formatted text depending on whether or not the address is located within one of the zones or none of the zones. In the screenshot below it shows the popup on the left and the Feature Info widget on the right.

I don't think it was due to the Arcade script because the pop-up shows up correctly when clicking on a feature in the map. However it only shows plain, black text in the Feature Info widget. This leads me to think it was due to a change within Experience Builder.

If anyone else has experienced this as well, have you found any workarounds?

For any ESRI staff seeing this, is this a bug to be fixed or is there a different approach I should take that would provide the same effect as HTML in Arcade in the layer popup configuration?

Thank you all for reporting this. It was logged as BUG-000180354: ArcGIS Experience Builder Feature Info widget does not respect all custom HTML configuration for pop up, and is currently under review.

I'm also experiencing this, text is no longer showing up as specified color on our pop-ups within the feature info widget.

Yes, I am also experiencing this issue. Pop-up with white text and a dark background is appearing in the feature info widget (within EB) with very dark text. Feature info widget was honoring the custom pop-up a few days ago.
