has anything being changed on how arcade code it processed in attribute expressions for popups, it seem to have stopped working for me now and just returns [object Object]

There are no changes that I can think of. If you are having specific issues the best approach is to submit a support incident. Support is working directly with the dev teams to iron-out any wrinkles and provide fixes as needed in regular patched.
