Connection Closed (Critical Code 2) Error when Publishing from Survey123Connect

Can someone please advise me on what a critical error (code 2) titled "Connection Closed" means?

I am trying to publish a survey with the "create a webmap" selected checked on. I originally made this survey on the web version and then edited it very lightly in Connect. I have no idea what this error could mean. When I uncheck "create a webmap," it publishes just fine.

Survey123 Connect will by default create a web map, where the Web publisher does not.

The error message is probably just Survey123 unable to find/create the web map on republish, and it's likely tied to originally being published in the web form. Maybe it's other things, like being moved or renamed or having an existing map of the same name in ArcGIS Online.

I'd recommend just creating a map and manually linking it to your survey on the Linked Content tab in Connect and republishing (this is the method for adding a map after the survey has been created).
