Is it possible to add features one by one to the batch edit selection?

Hi everyone,
I'm working with Experience Builder and using the Edit widget with batch editing enabled. So far, the only way I've found to select multiple features is by drawing a rectangle on the map, which selects all features within that area.

What I’d like to know is if there’s a way to click on individual features one by one to manually add them to the batch selection, instead of using the rectangle tool.

Has anyone achieved this, or is it currently not supported?

Yes, by pressing the Ctrl key while clicking on points, but it doesn't always seem to work properly. I don't know if it's an issue of tolerance, but it doesn't consistently work. You can use the Ctrl key with the rectangle and lasso options to add to the selection.

It's surprising that it doesn't follow the normal Esri selection convention of using Shift to add to the selection, Ctrl to remove from the selection

If you're looking to single select features using a tool on the map, you can use the Map widget "Select" tools and the "Shift" key.

Other ways to select features one at the time could be using the List or the Table widgets.

Yes, but the issue is that for this specific workflow, I need to edit multiple features simultaneously and asign the same value for each one of them — so simply selecting them isn’t enough

I understand. Unfortunately, if it's not possible to consistently select them one by one, I'll have to give up on using batch editing and go with a different approach. Hopefully this will be resolved in the near future. Thanks for your help.

You can use the lasso or rectangle tools to do this by just clicking once on the point. What you have to do is hold down the Ctrl key before starting the selection

@JuanTomásMartinez17 Looking more into this, I learned that you can add more features to the batch selection, but you need to select at least 2 features to get started. If you select only one feature to start, it loads the form for that feature and then you cannot add to the selection. So, the workflow would be: select 2 features, then press CTRL and keep selecting.

Exactly. I noticed this behavior before making the post, and I don't believe it's the most effective approach for the widget. Requiring users to first select two features and then manually click through each one is far from ideal in terms of user experience. This becomes even more challenging in maps with a high density of nearby features (as is the case in my current project), where tools like the lasso or rectangle selection become impractical due to the high likelihood of selecting unintended features.

The workflow would be: use the Select widget to select features, then open the Edit widget to edit those features. Edit widget works on selections.
