Publish Elevation Layer (automated)

Question

Hello,

I have multiple .tif layers and want to upload and publish them as Elevation Layers to ArcGIS Online. Does someone know how to automate this process with Python (arcpy, ArcGIS API for Python)? Is the .tif the best option for this? I create the .tif while using the Tool: Multipatch to Raster!
