QuickCapture text truncated

Question

I'm having a recurring issue in my QuickCapture apps where my comment text field is being truncated, or not being recorded at all.

It's set as a Button User Input - Multiline Text

The error happens at random, sometimes the text gets recorded, and other times even if I have only written a short piece of text such as 'Michelle test', only the 'Michelle' comes through. I check the source table and it is truncated there too so it's not a display error.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Yes I am using Android. I'll try a few tests where I press return at the end. Thanks for the suggestion!

@JohnathanHasthorpe same issue here when using an Android device.

Multiline text was selected for my 'comment' text field (256 characters) and text is randomly truncated

@MichelleThreadingham44 - can you confirm that you are using an Android device?

We do have a known limitation that relates to predictive text, where you need press return on the keyboard to enter the last word.
