I have discovered what seems to be a bug in the ArcGIS Experience Builder. The issue is that when the map widget has pop-ups disabled, pop-ups still appear after running a trace with the trace widget.
Reproduction steps:
- Start Experience Builder
- Create a new Web Experience using the 'blank fullscreen' template
- Add a map widget to the canvas.
- Select a web map that contains a utility network dataset including at least one named trace configuration.
- In the map widget configuration, disable pop-ups.
- Add a utility network trace widget to the canvas and connect it to the map widget.
- Save, publish and open (view) the web experience.
- Click on any object and notice that no pop-up appears (because they are disabled; this is expected).
- Run a trace using the trace widget.
- Click on any object and notice that a pop-up appears. This is unexpected.
Notes:
- Clearing the trace results does not change the outcome: pop-ups still appear when clicking objects.
- The only way to get rid of the pop-ups is to refresh the page.
- I have tested this in Experience Builder Portal edition on Enterprise 11.3, as well as Developer Edition 1.14 and 1.16. All yield the same results.
- I also tested this with Utility Network version 6 and version 7 datasets. These also yield the same results.
Does anybody recognize this behaviour? If it turns out to be a bug, I'm hoping to find a workaround until it's patched.
Thanks in advance and happy holidays!
