Currently on AGOL, you can select one or more items displayed on a page and different options are available for the selected items such as Delete and etc.
I think similar functionality should also available for groups in AGOL and even Portal/Enterprise as currently one has to a group's setting to delete it. There could other use cases as well such as updating sharing
