I had been using the supplemental assignments with "Getting to know" 2.8. This was extremely helpful for students to actually practice what they learning in the tutorials. Are there similar assignments available for 3.2?

We don't offer updated supplemental assignment for that editon. It's good to hear they were useful though, I'll note that consideration in planning for future editions.
