Relationship for Spatial Selection in the Negative

Question

I've been using Spatial Selection in the Select and Query tools to select point data that are within selected polygons. However, I now need to do this to identify the point data that are NOT within the polygons. Effectively as if the Relationship is 'Not Within' or 'Not Intersect'.  Anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?
