Charlie Fitzpatrick here, one last time.
After 32 years at Esri, I retired July 31, 2024. My wonderful colleagues are allowing me a last entry in the “Fun with GIS” blog collection. I present and link to a set of what seem to me today the most useful blogs, and a few I particularly favor.
Finally, thank you to all my colleagues for creating such powerful software and helping people acquire it and use it, and to Esri President Jack Dangermond for your steadfast faith in education. And especially to all the educators out there, both formal and informal, who do the really hard work, day in and day out. It has been an honor to be one of you, and to serve with you, for over 50 years.
Charlie thank you for EVERYTHING you brought to Esri, educators around the world, students, associations, and to me personally. You are a treasure. Thanks for the resources above, too! Many happy trails to you.
