Is there a limit to how many mosaic datasets (MD) you can store in a database? Documentation I've seen on this is limited.
My use case: I'm using an enterprise geodatabase in SQL Server and have about 16 MD in it. I'm thinking of creating a good number of new MDs for new imagery collections. Is there any limit to how many I can or should store in the database? Downsides to storing too many in one database?
In future years this number would only grow, so I'm just wondering if I should plan to break my collection of MDs into multiple, different databases.
Thank you!
