Portal name in the connection settings

Question

I had a problem signing into Survey123 after we upgraded our portal to 11.1, then Zach helped me clear the connection settings and I was able to add the new portal connection, and sign in. But the new portal connection doesn't show the portal name in the connection settings and button on the start page.

I checked the portal settings and the name in the Organization Profile is set, but it doesn't show up on the sign-in button. Is this fixable?

I posted this question in the comment section of my last question, but I think this should be a new question, so I posted this separately. Zach asked me what's the "name" in the portal JSON, and it was "null".

BLUF - the expected "name" will be displayed in connection settings for public portals, but the name is not able to be anonymously accessed for private portals.

I'm here with ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5.  I can successfully update the connection strings locally, but I don't think it would apply to the mobile field app for users, and I was only initially trying to improve the long list of connections in my own Survey123 Connect instance.

This appears to be related to a security/access setting.

Here's what I found -

* looking at the following Portal self response properties - https://[root]/portal/sharing/portals/self* access - public | private* how to update:* https://[root]/portal/home/organization.html?tab=security#settings 
* Access and permissions
* see toggle for "Allow anonymous access to your portal."

* name - The name of the organization or portal. The character limit is 250.* this is what I expected to see listed in Survey123 Connect connections list (and did, for one of my connections with public access)

* portalName - The portal's name.* gee, thanks, API docs! how informative...  😑
* Google AI tells me this - "In the ArcGIS Enterprise Portal Self API response, name represents your organization’s specific custom display name or title, whereas portalName is the broad, fixed product identifier string ("ArcGIS Enterprise")."
* This confirms what I see in Survey123 Connect connections ("ArcGIS Enterprise"), and I could not edit it from portal admin REST API.

Ya. I figured it was a slim chance it was a reg setting. Unless you have someone else setting stuff up for you, it's a super specific thing and wouldn't just randomly be set.

I am betting on some setting in Portal Admin.

Hi! Thanks for your reply. I checked the registry, and there was no ArcGISSurvey123.

I checked each line and couldn't find "Portal Name" there. I'll talk to my IT guy here.
