Legend in StoryMap not honoring renaming of layer in WebMap

We've been experiencing a slight annoyance regarding renaming layers in the webmap.  The legend for that webmap as seen in the StoryMap will not honor the updated/renamed layer name.  We've found a workaround by duplicating the layer in the webmap, and then the SM legend seems to honor the first renaming, but not any subsequent renaming.

Anybody else seeing this or have a better solution than our workaround?

Hi @KatieGaut , I believe your question was answered in this post: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-storymaps-questions/why-isn-t-story-map-builder-showing-changes-to/m-p/1118358

It is expected that that legend layer name doesn't change automatically, but you should be able to edit the layer names within the map designer in the story builder. Let me know if that workflow is a bit quicker.
