Hi Team,
We are loving the new search experience. However, we have recently noticed that the Web App Builder applications that we still have available have an associated code attachment content item which is now showing up as discoverable in the public content library. This post: Solved: Re: Items of type "Code Attachment" - Esri Community provides a great overview of what a code attachment is, but we haven't been able to find a way to remove this item, or stop it from being discoverable to the public via ArcGIS Hub. Having a look through other public hubs in the ArcGIS Hub gallery, we can see that we're not the only Hub impacted by this. Can you advise the best course of action for us?
Thanks!
Hi @EmilyMcLean_onneer ,
Confirming that we will be removing the "code attachment" items for the general availability release of the new search experience.
Emily
Thanks @Emily_Nilson, that's great to hear!
Hi @ThomasHervey1 ,
Just wondering if you have any updates on whether this is something that is likely to be updated/ resolved in the near future?
Hi @ThomasHervey1,
Thanks for getting back to me!
Here are a few examples I've found so far:
City of Sydney Data hub (nsw.gov.au)
Open Data DC (arcgis.com)
National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (arcgis.com)
City Of Moreton Bay Datahub
Thanks
@EmilyMcLean_onneerthanks for reaching out. We're investigating why this result is appearing in search results on the new search experience and if we intend to hide it. Do you have a link to a public site where I can see this behavior? Thanks
