We are using ArcPro 3.1.3 with COGO enabled line layers. When using the Traverse tool the Cancel does not remove added features from the data layer it just clears out the records that were entered in the traverse menu. Is there a setting we are missing? Is this a feature?

Yes - this is a feature.
Every course you enter is a feature that can be saved at any moment in time, so you can pick it up from where you have left. You can press undo or delete the features.
The traverse has no 'Cancel' button
