method = vertex not working for geoshape question

Hi,

I am trying to use a simple survey to collect an area on a map, by creating vertices in the field rather than sketching by hand on the map. I have tried the "method = vertex" option in the body::esri:style column of the XLS form but it doesn't appear to be changing the options available on the map. I'm using Version 3.18.124 for Survey123 connect. Is there some extra feature I am missing or does anyone know why else this feature might not be working?

Hello @CiaraMcGlade,

The spaces in the syntax is the cause of the behavior. If you use method=vertex then it should work. The XLSForm syntax can be picky with formatting.
