Survey123 Connect Beta database tools documentation

Question

The latest beta version of Survey123 Connect (3.19) has the ability to add in several beta tools (click and hold title bar in Settings). One of these is Database Tools. However, I've been unable to find any documentation on this, in this forum, anywhere on community, in ESRI references, the developer website, or just plain Google.

Does anyone know where I can find this? Thanks!

Um, ok, but then why is it included or at least this tip not mentioned? It would be a good thing to add to the elusive documentation.

Hello @ZenMasterZeke,

The Database Tools beta feature is meant for troubleshooting, what is does is opens the SQLite database that the Survey123 field app uses to store data. Essentially the equivalent of a read only DB Browser directly in Connect.

We don't recommend having Database Tools enabled in Connect because it will cause read/write lock issues in the SQLite database if both Connect and the field app are open at the same time.
