How do I add a scale bar to the basemap in Map Viewer?
I want it to work for my students so they can see the difference in appearens/ detail. Workaround: open Print and Advanced > scale . Zoom out/ in, refresh scale (next to the number). It will change.
But it should be in any map! Just as it was in the classic viewer.
Thank you so much for this work-around; I had no idea about this! I agree that it should be made available as it were in the Classic Map Viewer, but this is better than nothing.

Zooming will change the scale not like 1:100.000 but in meters/ miles
