Note the caveat about Map Viewer in Enterprise:
Hi, not sure if this is the right place, but I have a question about this section of the "What's New" help document, under Data Management:
To provide users with a single layer that presents dynamic data from two separate hosted feature or table layers, create a joined hosted feature layer view.
Creating dynamic joins between hosted feature layers was possible using the classic Map Viewer's analysis tools. Is this a change in the implementation of these joins, or is it just that joins are now available using the new Map Viewer? (Edit: I guess these aren't created from the new Map Viewer, but rather via a hosted feature layer's item page.)
I know in the past that creating a dynamic join between two layers would effectively freeze the schema of those layers, but I don't see any mention of this in the limitations; is that the update? (It'd be great if it is!)
