Is Publishing to Public Site without Coordinates in the Roadmap?

I couldn't find any future plans for allowing location information other than coordinates to pass validation when publishing a public PowerBI report with a map in it. For privacy reasons, it would be very helpful for me to publish a zip code choropleth instead of using lat/longs. Might this change in the near future?

I just joined as a creator, and I am having a hard time wrapping my head around how esri will only allow us to publish points.  I need to add states and it won't let me publish it.  I don't want a point to represent a state.  I think I need my money back.  This is rediculas esri!
