I notice that I CANNOT open Properties for a Standalone text (.csv) file in Catalog, but I CAN once it's added to Contents.
This behavior is different than other Standalone tables. ...Is there a reason why?
Can you give an example of a Standalone file format where you CAN see the Properties directly in Catalog, for example this behaviour seems to be the same for a .TXT file too.
You can see the Properties in Catalog for any other type of Standalone table, including FGDB Table, DBF, XLS...
