Is it possible add Experience Builder Developer Edition custom widgets on ArcGIS Online (ExB), directly or from Marketplace? If not, when it will be possible?

Its not currently possible to load a custom widget into AGOL. This is problematic for us and something I'd be keen to see available soon.
The work around is to deploy an application built using ArcGIS Experience Builder (Developer Edition) with its custom widget to a web server and then add this application as an item in AGOL.
