Maps for Office: Inserting rows using custom address locator

Question

I have a list of addresses in a spreadsheet that was published to ArcGIS Online through the Maps for Office app. I want to update the layer by inserting a new row with address information, however when I do this, I notice that I'm consuming credits through ESRI's geocoder service. The original layer was published with a custom address locator, can I insert rows and geocode with the same address locator so I can avoid consuming credits? I don't want to have to keep creating new layers using our custom geocoding service, I want to be able to continue updating a current layer without consuming credits.

Thanks for the reply. The issue that I'm coming across is that the custom locator will not geocode dynamically as rows are inserted - this functionality only occurs if I'm using ESRI's service. I spoke with someone from ESRI and they couldn't find a solution for my problem. The custom locator works fine when geocoding a new table, it's just when I want to add points to a currently shared service that I run into this problem. The ESRI rep. tried using a beta version for the next release of Maps for Office, and it wasn't a problem for that version, so it looks like I'll just have to wait for 3.0 to come out. (I have getting the problem with v 2.1.4)

Alex,

You can change the default geocoding service to your own geocoding service in Edit Settings->Utility Services-> Geocoding.

You can delete Esri's if you want to, I have.  It will come back if you delete your personal geocoding services.
