Unable to update from 2.4.3 to 2.5.1

Question

Hi, I am trying to upgrade ArcGIS Pro from 2.4.3 to 2.9.5. When I try to do it directly I get this error

I updated 2.4.2 to 2.4.3 without problems and thought the issue was that I was jumping patches but when I try to update from 2.4.3 to 2.5.1 I get the same error.

Unless you need something added in 2.9.4 or 2.9.5, I would recommend only installing up to 2.9.3 though.  Several issues arose with 2.9.4 and not fixed as of 3.0.2, especially if you are connecting to AGOL data with attachments.

Kayden - this makes sense as patch updates (i.e. 2.5.0 ->  2.5.1 or 2.5.2) require 2.5 to be installed first.  You cannot go from 2.4.2 to 2.5.5 without installing 2.5.0 to begin with.  My recommendation is to do a complete uninstall of ArcGIS Pro 2.4.x and a new install of ArcGIS Pro 2.5.0.  Then you will prompted to update ArcGIS Pro 2.5.0 with the patches.  Let me know how it goes.
